Strategic Partners And Colleagues
When I started out I quickly realized, since I knew nothing in particular, that if I was to be successful it would have more to do with the strategic relationships I was able to develop than anything I was likely to know.
Everywhere I looked there were people with contacts, training, skills, and professional credentials I would never have.
What I brought to the equation was my intuitive understanding of family business owners, what made them tick and what sort of help they were looking for.
As time passed I was able to associate myself with individuals and organizations who leveraged what I knew at the time, helped me to grow, and most importantly provided my clients with resources far beyond those I would ever been able to offer acting alone.
Here are my principal strategic partners today. I have long term relationships with each of them - as a co-founder, a colleague, and/or a collaborator.

Family Business Strategies
According to its February 1993 cover story, "The Virtual Corporation," Newsweek magazine described the emerging organization of the future "... as a temporary network of independent companies who come together quickly to exploit fast-changing opportunities and, linked by information technology, share skills, costs, and access to one another's markets." The virtual corporation, they proclaimed, "will have neither central office nor organizational chart and no hierarchy." That was our mission when I co-founded Family Business Strategies, which has evolved into an online resource that includes over 100 profiles of successful business owners. In 1998, to put 100% of our resources for business into the hands of business owners, no matter where they are we launched
www.iBizResources.com. And in 2005 we created
www.FBnews.net and its family of topic specific websites.

The New York Center for Coaching
In their landmark book, "Enterprise One to One", authors and experts Don Peppers and Martha Rogers clearly state their belief that the greatest division of people in the workplace in the 21st. Century will be between "the there vs. the there not". In the opinion of these experts, millions of people will be able to effectively offer their services without having to "be there". Delivering its services remotely to clients across North America, the Center is a consortium of professional coaches,
peer group facilitators, and consultants from a wide range of specialties - with over 100 years of combined experience helping business owners and executives realize the full potential. Clients run the gamut from small family owned and operated companies to multi-national Fortune 1000 organizations.

The Mediation Training Institute
Founded in 1985, the mission of the Mediation Training Institute International is to be a value-adding resource for identifying and removing the hidden costs and business risks caused by adversarial practices within organizations. Now, in 2008, another significant initiative is being launched that will reach and benefit even more people. A global interactive community is being established to connect professional solution providers with consumers of conflict resolution services — in organizations and societies worldwide. And, it will help conflict resolution professionals realize their personal, professional, and financial potential. I recently agreed to help them develop the largest non-commercial peer-to-peer professional network in the field of non-legal dispute resolution.

Each of the above organizations is worthy of your consideration, not because I say so, but because each has been recognized by experts in their respective fields. The common stream that flows through each of them is the focus on helping individuals and organizations enhance their ability and capacity for solving their own problems and meeting their own challenges.
Contact me for more information if you think I can help or you just want to know more. There is never an obligation.
All the best!
