For most newer AdSense publishers, checking your stats often just comes with the territory. While the practice isn’t all that healthy for you (depression usually sets in after a few weeks of no growth), there is a solution.

First, you need the new Mozilla Firefox browser. If you’re still using Internet Explorer, you’re behind the times. Firefox is the new king of BrowserLand.

Don’t have Firefox? You can get it at mozilla.org. Load the browser onto your PC and get ready for a much better Internet browsing experience.

Once you’ve got the browser loaded and correctly configured, the next thing you need is the FireFox AdSense Plugin. This little ditty is definitely a small cure for the stats-minded publisher. Installing it is very simple, just click on it and verify that you actually want it installed. While you’re there, look around and see if there are other plug-ins you may like to have. Also, bookmark this page in case you need to come back to it later.

When installing the AdSense plugin, if you’re interested in all your stats, such as CTR, CPM, etc, check them all. Personally I simply use the $$ option. It floats right there in the bottom right corner of my FireFox browser all day long. I can watch it update and watch my money grow (or not)!

While this is no cure for AdSense Stats Addiction, it certainly helps.
